1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy describes how SRL Selly-One collects, uses, stores, transfers and protects the personal data of users of the seli.md platform.

Data Controller / Merchant: SRL Selly-One, IDNO 1023600033747, with registered office at șos. Hîncești 43, mun. Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, administrator of the seli.md platform, hereinafter referred to as “Seli”, “seli.md”, the “Company”, the “Controller” or the “Merchant”.

User: any natural or legal person who visits the seli.md website, creates an account, publishes an advertisement, purchases a promotion package, contacts customer support or otherwise uses the services of the platform.

By using the seli.md platform, the User confirms that they have read this Privacy Policy. If the User does not agree with this Policy, they must stop using the platform.

This Policy applies to all pages, services and functionalities of the seli.md platform, including advertisement pages, the personal account, contact forms, payment forms and communication with customer support.

Depending on how the seli.md platform is used, the Company may collect and process the following categories of personal data:

• company name, if the User acts on behalf of a legal entity;

• IDNO or other identification data of the legal entity, if provided by the User;

• data necessary to confirm identity or process the User’s request.

3.2. Contact data

• phone number;

• email address;

• address or locality, if indicated by the User in an advertisement or request;

• data submitted through contact forms, chat or customer support.

3.3. Account data

• login or account identifier;

• authentication data;

• history of actions in the personal account;

• account settings;

• status of published advertisements and purchased services.

3.4. Data regarding advertisements and promoted goods

• information indicated in advertisements;

• description of the good or object;

• photos and other materials uploaded by the User;

• price, characteristics, category and location of the good;

• history of editing and promoting the advertisement.

3.5. Payment and transaction data

• information about the selected package or service;

• payment amount;

• payment date and status;

• transaction identifier;

• data necessary for processing refunds;

• information received from the payment processor or bank as part of payment confirmation.

seli.md does not store the full bank card number, CVV/CVC code or other sensitive card data. Online payments are processed through authorized payment processors.

• device type;

• browser type and version;

• operating system;

• date and time of visit;

• pages viewed;

• source of access to the website;

• cookies and similar technologies.

3.7. Communication data

• messages submitted through website forms;

• correspondence with customer support;

• requests, complaints, reviews and notifications;

• data provided during phone, electronic or other communication with the Company.

4. Purposes of Personal Data Processing

The Company processes Users’ personal data for the following purposes:

• creating, managing and protecting the User’s account;

• providing access to the functionalities of the seli.md platform;

• publishing, placing, editing and promoting advertisements;

• providing free and paid services;

• processing orders, payments and refunds;

• confirming payments and preventing payment abuse;

• communicating with the User regarding advertisements, services, payments and support;

• providing technical, commercial and customer support;

• improving the quality of the platform, functionalities and user experience;

• ensuring platform security and preventing fraud;

• examining complaints, requests and claims;

• complying with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Moldova;

5. Legal Grounds for Data Processing

The Company processes Users’ personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Moldova, including Law No. 133 of 08.07.2011 on personal data protection.

The Company does not sell Users’ personal data to third parties.

• analytics and anti-fraud tool providers;

When transferring data, the Company takes reasonable measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of personal data.

7. Payments and Bank Data Security

Payment for services on the platform may be made by bank card, bank transfer or other methods available on the website.

Bank card payments are processed through secure systems of authorized payment processors. The Company does not store the full bank card number, card expiry date, CVV/CVC code or other sensitive payment data.

For payment confirmation and accounting, the Company may process limited transaction data, such as payment amount, payment date, payment status, selected service, transaction identifier and information necessary for refunding funds.

The User is responsible for using a valid payment instrument and confirms that they have the right to use the selected payment method.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The seli.md platform may use cookies and similar technologies to ensure website operation, improve user experience, analyze traffic, store User settings and ensure security.

Cookies may be used for the following purposes:

• ensuring proper operation of the website;

• advertisement data is retained for the duration of publication of the advertisement and for a reasonable period after its deactivation;

• support request data is retained for the period necessary to examine the request and protect the rights of the Company or the User;

• technical data and cookies are retained for the period necessary for security, analytics and proper website operation.

After the relevant period expires, data is deleted, anonymized or archived, unless further retention is required by law.

In accordance with applicable legislation on personal data protection, the User may have the following rights:

• the right to obtain information on whether their personal data is being processed;

• the right of access to their personal data;

• the right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;

The Company takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, destruction or improper use.

Despite the measures taken, no method of data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. The Company cannot guarantee absolute data security but takes reasonable measures to protect it.

12. Public Nature of Advertisements

The User understands and agrees that the information indicated by them in a published advertisement may be publicly accessible to other visitors of the seli.md platform.

Public information may include the description of the good, photos, price, category, locality, contact details if indicated by the User for communication, and other information placed in the advertisement.

The User is responsible for the content of the information they publish in an advertisement and undertakes not to post third-party data without an appropriate legal basis or consent.

13. Data Transfer Outside the Republic of Moldova

When using technical, hosting, analytics, communication, payment or promotion services, personal data may be processed or stored outside the Republic of Moldova.

In such cases, the Company takes reasonable measures to ensure that data processing is carried out in compliance with applicable personal data protection requirements.

14. Minors’ Data

The seli.md platform is not intended for use by persons who have not reached the age that allows them to independently enter into contracts and use paid services in accordance with applicable law.

The Company does not knowingly collect personal data of minors without the consent of their legal representatives. If the Company becomes aware that such data has been provided without an appropriate legal basis, it will take reasonable measures to delete it.

15. Links to Third-Party Websites

The seli.md platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, social networks or partner platforms.

The Company is not responsible for the content, security or privacy policies of third-party websites. The User is advised to separately review the privacy policy of each third-party resource before using it.

16. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy when necessary, including in the event of changes to legislation, platform functionality, data processing methods or requirements of payment partners.

The updated version of the Privacy Policy is published on the seli.md platform and enters into force from the date of publication, unless otherwise stated.

Continued use of the platform after publication of the updated version means that the User has become aware of the changes.
